Basingstoke blanketed in snow last year
SNOW swept across parts of Hampshire this morning despite sunshine and blue skies.
Flakes have been spotted falling in Basingstoke through the bright sunshine.
There have also been reports of snow falling in Whitchurch, Romsey and Andover
The Met Office did not warn of snow, which had expected today to be mostly cloudy with sunny spells and temperatures between 4C (39F) and 6C (42.8F).
