Three people were left injured after a serious head-on collision on the A339 yesterday.
A male adult was left trapped, suffering serious neck, back and arm injuries, after a white Renault Trafic van collided with a blue Dacia Duster.
The man was flown to Southampton General Hospital by Air Ambulance.
A female received minor injuries and was also taken to Southampton General Hospital.
Another male was discharged by ambulance services at the scene.
The accident happened between The Avenue and Medstead Road, near Shalden, leaving severe delays for motorists traveling between Basingstoke and Alton.
South Central Ambulance Service and Hampshire Police arrived to the scene at approximately 1.30pm, clearing it by 4.20pm.
