Remembrance parade will be held in Overton
A REMEMBRANCE parade will be held in Overton tomorrow.
The parade will start at 10.20am at Beech Tree Care Home, in Sprents Lane before making its way along Winchester Street, Kingsclere Road and Church Road.
At 10.50am wreaths will be laid at the War Memorial outside St Mary's Church, followed by a two minute's silence at 11am.
PC Richard Baldwin will join the parade in his patrol car to ensure the safety of participants and he will lay a wreath on behalf of Hampshire Constabulary.
A service of remembrance is in St Mary's Church at 11.05am.
