Great Whitchurch Pub Race to return on Sunday
TEAMS in fancy dress will race around pubs this Sunday in an annual event.
The Great Whitchurch Pub Race starts at 3.30pm when the first teams leave the King's Arms, in Church Street.
Crowds are expected to line the streets to watch participants make their way around the pubs, downing half a pint at each whilst collecting money for the Whitchurch Festival Association, which organises the popular event.
Awards will be presented to the winners at The White Hart at around 8.30pm.
