WHITCHURCH Silk Mill will take over the town’s charity shop next month.
Trustees at the mill have booked two weeks at Rotations between February 27 and March 13 and are asking residents in the town to donate their clothes, books and general bric-a-brac which they can sell in the shop.
Money collected over the fortnight will go towards the Silk Mill’s ‘Preserving the Fabric’ campaign which aims to raise £200,000 over the next two years to help maintain and refurbish various parts of the mill.
Donations can be made directly to the Silk Mill and Rotations or residents can call 01256 892361.
Neither place can take donations of furniture or electric items.
