BASINGSTOKE has nine of them - and now, new data released by YouGov reveals the typical person who visits Costa Coffee.
The firm, best known for compiling opinion polls ahead of elections, has released a sample of the data which profiles people with certain interests.
Costa Coffee, of which there are nine of in Basingstoke, is among those profiled, and the results show that the average person who visits the chain is female, aged between 25 and 39, and most likely to work in business, education or finance.
With more than £1,000 a month to spend after paying for bills, the average Costa Coffee customer’s favourite hobby is going to the cinema and their perferred sport is tennis. Sea bass with beurre blanc is apparently their favourite food, or coffee with walnut cake!
Costa Coffee customers like to shop at Sainsbury’s and their favourite television programme is The Great British Bake Off.
The Basingstoke Gazette has also been profiled by YouGov, and the results show our average reader is male, aged over 60, who is most likely to work in IT or accounting.
Our readers are apparently very right wing, enjoy cooking and horse racing, and their favourite food is beef bourguignon or French onion soup.
Gazette readers enjoy watching Mock The Week, are most likley to shop at Sainsbury’s and bank with NatWest.
