A FISHERY at Aldermaston will open its gates to the public tomorrow for a netting demonstration.
Seven Lakes Angling, based at Paices Wood Country Parkland, has commissioned a company to do a survey this week of its lakes to find how many, and what kind of, fish are there.
A public demonstration of the survey will take place between 1pm and 2pm on Friday.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be on offer, as well as a raffle, with prizes including a 12-month season ticket at the lakes, and a six-month sub-scription to Angling Times.
All proceeds will go to the Ollie Young Foundation. The charity was set up in 2012 after the nephew of fishery owner Roy Young died of a brain tumour the day before his sixth birthday.
