YOUNG volunteers have created a new display telling the story of a silk mill’s links to the First World War.
A group of youngsters aged 14 to 24, who took part in the EDGE Project, made the display at Whitchurch Silk Mill, which shows the connection between the mill and its war time history.
The centrepiece is a replica of a trench coat, which was bought using a grant from Hampshire Commemorates Fund.
The exhibition runs at the mill, in Winchester Street, until October 26.
