A MAN had to be freed from his car after a crash on the M3 this afternoon.
The two-car crash took place on the northbound M3 between junctions 6 and 5, at around 2.20pm.
Crews from Basingstoke fire station were called to cut the roof from the man’s car. He was then lifted out and taken to hospital.
It is thought the two cars collided after one suffered a blown tyre.
No other injuries were reported.
