A POPULAR sports weekend is set to return for a second year.
The Oakley Sports Weekend will take place at various venues on April 26 and 27, with sports including badminton, football, cricket and tennis on offer for visitors.
All events will be free of charge, except the fun run at the Peter Houseman recreation ground on April 26 at 2pm, with entry for the run priced at £6 per adult and £2 for under 16-year-olds.
A family ticket can also be purchased for two adults and two children which costs £12.
The Oakley Community Association is also appealing for volunteers to help with marshalling and for people to help with registration process and to hand out refreshments at the event.
