PARENTS are being warned of a man acting suspiciously outside of a number of schools in Basingstoke.
Police have received several reports a man approaching students and asking them questions.
One such incident involved a man approaching a girl and asked her if the lady she was with was her mum – she said she was, he then ran and sped off in his car.
Another time a man approached a boy asking him if he wanted a lift.
Each time the incidents happened in the afternoon, and police believe it is the same man involved. Officers are asking schools’ staff to be aware of people acting suspiciously outside of the schools.
Officers believe the man is mixed-race and driving a green Peugeot.
If anyone has any information about these incidents they should contact the police on 101.
