Appeal following garage break-in

POLICE are appealing for information following a garage brake-in in Winchfield.
At approximately 1.15am this morning (August 9) one or more suspects wrenched open the door of a detached garage in Poland Lane.
When the intruders gained accessed by opening the door a burglar alarm sounded, and the suspects fled the scene without taking any items.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101 and quote reference number 44170306239.
If you believe person(s) are attempting to enter a building illegally you should call the 999 emergency response number immediately.
