POLICE have launched a "suspicious person" probe after multiple reports of a person being spotted climbing onto rooftops.

Three incidents have been reported to police of a man seen climbing a roof, all in the Overton area.

The first took place at 9.52pm on June 21 at Overton Methodist Church.

A man, aged between 15 and 20, was spotted on the roof of Winchester Street building.

He was wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts and black gloves.

A second incident took place at 11.45pm on 26 June, when a person was seen climbing on the roof of Overton Memorial Institute, on Station Road.

No description was given.

A third incident took place at 11pm on 29 June, when a male wearing a red balaclava, glasses, black trousers, blue boxers and a dark coloured hoody was seen on the roof of Overton Community Centre.
