VANDALS broke into a Basingstoke church causing criminal damage to one of its windows and interior doors.
The offenders broke into St Gabriels Church, in Tewkesbury Close, Popley around 12.30am on April 9.
Four people wearing dark clothing gained access to the church via a window before damaging a door to the vestry, however nothing was taken.
The intruders were seen running away from the church at the time. One of them wore white trainers.
PC Glenn Spierling said: “Were you in this area at this time? Did you see anyone running away from the church or notice anything suspicious?”
