A WOMAN has been jailed for 12 weeks following a spate of thefts in Basingstoke dating back to October 2016.
Tracy Joanne Donnelly, of no fixed abode, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ court on March 13 pleading guilty to 12 different counts of theft which spanned from October 23, 2016 to March 10, 2017.
The offences the 42-year-old committed included stealing items to the value of £186.89 from New Look, in Festival Place, £680 of goods from John Lewis at home and £155 worth of gardening equipment from Elm Park Garden Centre, in Tadley.
Donnelly will serve an overall sentence of 12 weeks in prison as well as having to pay £115 in compensation.
