FOUR people have been arrested following an assault in Basingstoke town centre.
As previously reported by The Gazette a 33-year-old man suffered major injuries to his arm following a attack in an underground car park in Alencon Link.
Officers attended the incident at 7.30pm on March 8, where the area of Crown Heights was cordoned off whilst police began its investigation.
Two 16-year-old boys, a 42-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man have been arrested in connection with this investigation.
South Central Ambulance Service sent a response vehicle, an officer, an ambulance and a car from the air ambulance to the scene.
The man was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment to his injuries which appear to have been inflicted with a bladed implement.
Enquiries are ongoing and the information available at this time suggests this is an isolated incident.
