FEMALE residents are being warned about the suspicious actions of a man in the Oakley area.
Police have alerted residents in the area of a man making requests to take photographs of women’s feet.
This comes after a woman was approached by a man on a bicycle in St John's Road at approximately 7.30pm on January 23.
The man asked the woman if he could photograph her without her shoes and socks on for a sum of money. Police reported that the male admitted that the suggestion was an odd request.
The man is described as being white, middle-aged, with brown hair and stubble. He was of average height and wearing all black, including combat trousers, a coat and a hat.
Officers said it may have been intended as an innocent remark by the man and did not mean to cause any concern. However, police are still asking residents to be wary.
