WITNESSES are being sought after an attempted robbery.
Police received reports of two men involved in a struggle at the junction of Basing View and Norn Hill in Basingstoke on 6.10pm on Thursday, November 10.
According to an eye witness it is believed one of the men was attempting to take a rucksack from the other by the underpass at the junction.
The man who took the rucksack has been described as being around 5ft 11ins tall and wearing a black balaclava, a dark grey coat, light grey jogging bottoms with black shoes and gloves.
The second man is described as a mixed race male, around 5ft 5ins tall, around 18 years of age and had black, curly hair and a thick black beard. He wore a hooded jacket and a grey beanie hat.
Police want to speak to the two people involved to establish exactly what happened. They are also appealing to any witnesses who may have seen what happened.
