AN EFIT has been released of a man police want to speak to following a robbery in Basingstoke.

On Thursday August 4 between 9.15pm and 9.30pm, a 20-year-old man was walking along Pack Lane when he was struck from behind by a bicycle, causing him to fall to the ground.

Two males, who had been riding bikes, then assaulted him before stealing his wallet.

They then rode off.

During the attack, the victim sustained bruises to his forehead.

The first attacker is described as white, aged 20 to 25-years-old, of slim build and around 6ft tall. He had a long face with a pointed chin and blond facial stubble. He wore a black hooded top with tribal writing on the front, and grey jeans.

The second attacker is described as white, aged 20 to 25-years-old, of slim build and around 5ft 10ins tall. He wore a light-coloured hooded top.

Both men rode small dark-coloured BMX bikes and had local accents. The first man had a deeper voice than the second.
