A PENSIONER is appealing for help to reunite her much loved gnome family after they were stolen from her garden in Oakley.
The three garden ornaments described as a ‘daddy gnome’ and two ‘children gnomes’ were stolen from the back garden of a property in The Drove, Oakley at around 9pm on Friday evening.
The 75-year-old resident, who wished to remain anonymous, told The Gazette the gnomes where gifts from her family and she just wants them returned.
She said: “The ‘daddy gnome’ was a gift from my daughter, and the other two made up its family.
“What I don’t understand is that they left the animal ornaments but took the gnome family, I am just asking for people’s help to get them back.”
Police said the theft was reported to them at 7.24am on Saturday, with one of the gnomes described as a 'man gnome' and the biggest of the three. The other two gnomes were described as 'child gnomes' - one male and one female.
