Police investigation launched after mid-day robbery at Boots
POLICE are looking for information after a woman stole more than £1,000 worth of sunglasses from Boots in The Malls.
Between 11.50am and noon on Wednesday May 11, the woman stole designer sunglasses including Versace, Givency and Ray Bans from the Basingstoke store.
It is alleged the woman concealed the glasses in her clothing, before leaving the shop.
The woman is described as:
- White (olive-skinned)
- About 25-30-years-old
- About 5’ 7” tall
- Medium build
- Long black hair
The woman was wearing a grey cardigan, dark trousers, black Nike trainers, with a white sole and white Nike 'tick' logo.
She also wore a bracelet.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or recognises the woman from the description or the CCTV, is asked to call police on 101 and quote 44160176810.
