RAM RAIDERS smashed into a service station in an attempted robbery in the early hours of this morning.

Sutton Scotney services on the A34 northbound have been taped off by police after the incident.

Two stolen vehicles arrived at Sutton Scotney services on the northbound A34 at around 1.30am, with one backing into a window.

Two freestanding cash machines were dragged into the forecourt and damaged but nothing was stolen.
