TWO brothers wanted in connection with an acid attack have been arrested.

Billy and Geoffrey Midmore, along with a 33-year-old woman, were arrested by police at an address in Gillingham, Kent at around 10.45pm last night.

All three are now being taken to Hampshire for questioning.

The victim, 37-year-old Carla Whitlock, is now out of hospital but her injuries have been described as “life changing and horrific”, following the attack in Guildhall Square, Southampton.

She has been told that she may never regain sight in one eye.

Following the attack, the two men travelled towards Basingstoke, but were spotted in Southampton the next day and later visited a McDonald’s restaurant in Swaythling.

The arrest, which was a result of a joint operation by Hampshire and Kent police, comes just hours after police issued a £5,000 reward for any information.
