THIEVES broke into a house and made off in the victim’s car following a daytime burglary in Hatch Warren.
The car key burglary took place in Calleva Close, sometime during the day on Tuesday this week.
The thieves broke in through the front door and stole car keys before driving away in a white Mercedes CLA 220 AMG that was parked outside.
Police Staff Investigator Scott Buchan, from the Northern Investigation Team, said: “This burglary happened during the day and I am keen to speak to anyone who might have seen anything unusual in the area or who might have seen the car driving around.”
He said people should leave their car keys in a safe and secure area when they lock up and report suspicious incidents as soon as possible.
