Bike stolen from Basingstoke restaurant
AN appeal has been made after a bicycle was stolen from outside a Basingstoke restaurant.
The theft took place at The Stag and Hounds Harvester in Winchester Road, near the Brighton Hill Roundabout, on Tuesday, June 2.
The charity Crimestoppers said the bike owner was in the pub enjoying a drink, having left his bike outside. Witnesses reported seeing a van pull up and two men get out. They left moments later, and the bike had also disappeared.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Hampshire police on 101.
