Police warning after spate of chainsaw thefts
POLICE are warning people in the Basingstoke area to be aware of thefts of chainsaws.
PC Andrew Reid, from the Basingstoke district, said there had been an increase in thefts of chainsaws and similar equipment from workshops, sheds and dealerships, which have taken place overnight.
He advised people to record all serial numbers on equipment or to use Immobilise on the internet to record property.
