AN INVESTIGATION has begun after a van driver indecently exposed himself to a woman in Bramley.

The incident took place in Mill Lane, shortly before 1pm on Saturday, January 2.

A woman in her forties was walking along the road when she was approached by a well-spoken man driving a white Ford Transit van.

He did not get out of the vehicle, and asked her for directions before exposing himself to her.

Police said the woman was not touched or harmed during the incident.

An efit image of the suspect has been released.

PC Martyn Evans said: “I would like to reassure the local community that this was an isolated incident and the victim came to no physical harm. This is also the only report that we have had of this nature in the area.

“I’m also keen to speak to a man who was walking a staffie-type dog, who may have seen what happened. He is thought to be in his thirties and was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a dark zip up top.”

The van driver has been described by the woman as white, aged in his 40s, and of large build with a distinctively small head.

He had brown hair, blue eyes and was clean shaven and well spoken. He wore a blue and grey checked shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Evans at Tadley police station on 101, quoting 44150001479.
