A WOMAN died in a two-vehicle crash near Sutton Scotney this morning.
The middle-aged woman was the driver of one of two vehicles that crashed by the junction of the A30 and A272 at Sutton Scotney, just before 6.30am this morning.
Another woman, a passenger in the car, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle, a middle-aged man, and a passenger, a young boy, received injuries that were not life-threatening.
The road remains closed while police officers investigate the crash site.
