A SAFE was pulled out through the wall of a pub after burglars forced their way in last night.
Police are appealing for information following the burglary at The Swan, in Kiln Road, Sherborne St John between 2.40am and 2.55am.
Once inside the pub, the safe, which contained cash, was pulled out by a vehicle, through the smashed wall.
Sergeant Trevor Taylor said: “I am appealing to anyone with information about this incident to come forward and speak to us.
“Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the area during the early hours of this morning? I would urge anyone with information to get in touch.”
