ANOTHER attempt has been made to rob staff at a post office in Tadley.
Police were called to the Mulfords Hill Post Office at 1.30pm today, after a report of an attempted robbery. Nothing was taken in the raid.
Officers are guarding the building and conducting house-to-house enquiries. No arrests have been made so far.
As reported in The Gazette, a masked robber armed with a screwdriver targeted the store on the morning of Friday, October 31.
He fled empty-handed and witnesses said he got into a black saloon car which was seen to head off at speed along Mulfords Hill towards Aldermaston.
A burnt out car, believed to be the getaway vehicle, was later found by a row of garages in Baughurst.
Anyone with information on the latest raid has been asked to call 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
