A GANG kicked a woman as she sat on a kerb in Kempshott, after she refused to hand over money.
The group of around four or five people, all wearing hooded tops, approached the woman as she sat at the junction of Old Kempshott Lane and Lowlands Road, between 11pm and 11.30pm on Saturday, August 9.
When the 21-year-old woman refused their request for money, they kicked her to the arms and body causing bruising. She then handed over money and the group ran off along Old Kempshott Lane.
All the suspects are described as white and aged in their early 20s.
One of the group is described as of skinny build, clean shaven, around 5ft 9ins tall, and wore a grey hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms.
Detective Constable Andrew Wright said: “This incident is likely to have been overheard by people living in the local area due to the time of night and as a result of the number of people involved.”
