A MAN was arrested after locking himself inside a house in Brighton Hill.
Officers visited a house in Brahms Road at around 1.10pm yesterday as part of pre-planned inquiries, Hampshire Constabulary said.
A statement from the force read: “While at the address they became concerned for the welfare of a 22-year-old man who had locked himself in his house.
“Specially trained officers liaised with the man and he came out of the address at 2pm. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance to receive treatment for minor injuries.”
The man was then arrested on suspicion of affray and is currently being questioned by police.
