Bramley
PARISH council: Will meet on Monday, at 7.30pm, in the Bramley Room, at the village hall, when there will be a 10-minute interval for residents to make comments.
Also at this annual meeting, officers for next year will be elected and representatives will be appointed.
BRAMLEY history: Please make a note for June 26, when a meeting will be held in Cross House with the idea of starting a Bramley Historical Research Society.
Bramley has changed much over the past and you may have pictures, documents or family history which should not be lost but go to a repository of the history of our village and of its people.
Contacts are Ken Hume on 01256 881344 and Robert Toogood on 01256 881373.
BRAMLEY Lunch Club: Another lunch date at the Avenue Nurseries, at Lasham, saw Bramley Lunch Club members enjoying a choice of roast chicken or fish and chips followed by apple crumble or banana custard.
Thank you to the Avenue Nursery staff for a good time.
The club welcomes new members and drivers.
OPEN gardens: Thank you to volunteers who have offered to open their gardens in June.
The date is yet to be fixed, which I will let you know with the venues.
12:00pm Friday 16th May 2008
