Pamber Heath
MEMORIAL Hall AGM: At last week's AGM, the hall management committee presented its report for 2007/2008.
The hall has been very well supported over the past year and there are several plans in the pipeline for fundraising in the autumn.
Unfortunately, vandalism and other problems were mentioned by villagers but hopefully the local police are acting to control these problems.
On a happier note, make a date on your calendar for the autumn produce show and village fete on September 6.
WALK Your Way to Health: Meet at 1.30pm, at Tadley Library, today, for this month's free walk.
Wear suitable clothes and shoes for the weather and bring a small bottle of water to drink.
PAMBER Heath Gardening Club: Next Tuesday, David Stuart will be giving a talk on "Pots and Containers - Back to Basics".
The meeting starts at 7.30pm, and everyone is welcome.
Refreshments are served during the evening and a plant bring-and-buy stall is run. The cost for non-members is £1.50.
