PERCY'S plant sale: Was a huge success last Saturday.
Gill Austin said: "It was a very happy morning and we are very grateful to all those who came.
"Because of the sunny weather we were able to have the plants outside and the cakes inside.
"Profit from the sale is £1,035, which will be split equally between the village hall and St Leonard's Church."
ANNUAL parish meeting: Will be held on Friday, May 23, at 8pm, in the village hall.
There will be reports from the parish council, county and borough councillors, village charities, village hall trustees and also the village green committee. There will also be time for questions. All parishioners are invited.
HAPPY Faces fundraiser: The quiz is this Saturday, in the village hall, and starts at 7.30pm.
There will be a fish and chip supper.

CHURCH: St Leonard's is open to view on Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
