COLLISION course workshops: There will be a free four-day workshop for young people (aged 16 to 19, up to 25 years for people with disabilities) and who are not in employment or education.

The workshops will be held at Junction 6 Youth Club, in Popley Way, Basingstoke, on June 16, 17 and 20, with a contemporary dance tutor from Winchester University, myself on drums, percussion and video FX training and another tutor for recording techniques, songwriting and guitar tuition.

June 26 may then see the whole group visit a professional recording studio (to be confirmed) on the fourth day.

The group on the last collision course made a DVD in two days and the results can be seen at www.drumrummers.org/node/318.

If you know of any young people who are interested, then book via Hampshire Children's Services. Call Lorraine King on 01256 819576.

If you have any questions about the course, contact me on the number above.

More news will follow for Drum Runner community project dates.
