NEARLY 400 have signed up to take part in a 10-mile fundraising walk on September 27 for Jayden.
The event starts at War Memorial Park at 6pm, heading towards St Mark’s School in Hatch Warren, before finishing back at the starting point. Entry costs £15 per person or £30 for a family of three to five, which can be paid in advance to the Just Giving page, with all funds raised going directly to Jayden’s family.
Participants paying to take part should state their name, how many people are in the party, and reference the Moonlit Walk.
Stevie Hobbs, who has organised the event, has permission from the borough council, and has arranged for the police and an emergency response vehicle to attend.
The mother-of-two from Brighton Hill said: “I followed the story on Facebook, holding my breath every single day waiting for the results of the hospital tests. Once the results came through I had to try and do something to help this beautiful family make some lasting memories for their children.”
