Age Concern running new course

AGE Concern Hampshire has announced it will run a new computer course in Overton.

The one-to-one tuition will include an introduction on the basics of using a computer, booking tickets, managing digital photos and catching up with television and radio programmes.

Supported by Hampshire County Council and Hampshire Adult Learning, the course will run in Harvey’s Field on Thursday mornings from 10am.

What a fantastic idea! I suspect a lot of elderly people don't have a computer because although it's easy enough to go out and buy one (2nd hand one's are fine also), whats the point if you don't even know how to use it?
Great, I like this idea and hope they roll it out across Basingstoke because in this day and age with technology moving on at a fast pace, if you don't move with the times......you get left behind! That's the reason I taught my mum how to use a laptop! Trouble is now she just plays bingo online all the time! lol
