Man threatened to jump off bridge near Basing View

A MAN threatened to jump off a bridge near Basing View yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to the railway bridge in Norn Hill, Basingstoke, at around 4.30pm.
The 42-year-old man from Southampton was detained under the mental health act and is in police custody.
