VINTAGE sports cars descended on a north Hampshire pub for an open day.

More than 20 cars came to the Fox and Goose in Greywell for the day organised by the Hampshire Area of the Midget and Sprite Club.

The club’s fifth open day at the pub allowed regulars to get up close with the cars that were first made by Austin Healey and then MG.

Organiser Barry Green, who owns a pale blue 1958 Austin Healy Frogeye Sprite, said the open day went well, with classic car enthusiasts travelling from as far as Buckinghamshire to take part.

He said: “We have had a few customers from the pub coming over here. It’s something to do, something a bit different, rather than being stood inside the pub all day.”

The club holds their regular meet at the pub on the third Thursday of every month.
