Man commits indecent act in Glebe Gardens, Basingstoke

A MAN was seen committing an indecent act in a Basingstoke park.

He was seen in the bushes in Glebe Gardens, to the rear of St Michael’s Church, at about 11.40am on Monday, September 3. He is described as white and wore shorts and a hat.

The woman who saw him did not have a mobile phone to report the act, but asked for another woman to call the police. When officers arrived, the original woman had left without leaving her details.

Officers would like to speak to this woman. She is described as white, with blonde hair and had a dog with her.

Police said there was a similar report of an indecent act in Glebe Gardens at 7.40pm on Tuesday, August 28.

PC Dumisani Sikhosana said: “If you witnessed either of these incidents or have any information about who this man is, please contact me as soon as possible.”
