Council report helps new employees achieve in first year

BASINGSTOKE and Deane Borough Council has published a report about procedures to help new employees achieve performance standards and objectives in their first year.
The report will be presented to the Human Resources Committee on September 10, and recommends the committee approves the document.
The procedure also provides a framework for dealing with cases of gross misconduct.
