THE final 100 tickets for CarFest South, being held this weekend, sold out in just seven minutes.

Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans announced on Twitter this morning that the returned tickets for the event at Laverstoke Park Farm were being resold today, helping to raise money for Children in Need.

The tickets originally went on sale on July 25 and all 15,000 sold out within an hour.

There are, however, still VIP tickets available which include access to a VIP marquee and prime view of the hill climb and main stage.

See next week’s Gazette for a report and pictures on CarFest, which will see bands including Texas and The Feeling perform at the farm near Overton.
