Efit of man police want to speak to about the Eversley burglary
WORKMEN duped an elderly couple from Eversley out of £1,800 after offering to resurface a driveway.
The couple, aged in their 70s, signed a contract with a man who called at their house in Coopers Hill on July 9.
He returned at 8pm that day with two other men, and they laid down pea shingle on the driveway and smoothed it out. The man then returned the following morning and collected the money.
But the couple discovered that rather than using proper tarmac, the workmen had sprayed a black substance over the shingle which washed away and caused a mess on the driveway.
Officers have released an efit picture of the man they wish to speak to in connection with the burglary.
The man is described as white with a tanned face, aged 28 to 35, of slim build and with short, dark hair. Anyone with information can contact PC Tryffena Vickery at Aldershot police station on 101.

Do not buy anything on the doorstep.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
You will get better value by shopping around.
Take privateryan65's advice and get a friend or relative to help you.
Use an 'approved' supplier with a business address you can check out.
Do not pay more than a small deposit upfront.
Inspect the finished work closely before parting with the rest of the money.

If you want a job done DONT go for a cheap easy fix all the time call around ask questions and get reputable people in. It might cost a little more but that's surely better than being out of pocket completely.
