Francis Ebbs
POLICE have launched a missing person investigation following the disappearance of 80-year-old Francis Ebbs from his home in Basingstoke.
Mr Ebbs was last seen by his wife when he took her a cup of tea shortly after 7am yesterday.
He then left their home in Harold Jackson Terrace, Basingstoke, and has not been seen since.
Police are searching the area for Mr Ebbs and are appealing for anyone who may have seen him or knows where he may be to call 101 immediately.
Mr Ebbs is a white man, 5ft 9ins in height with dark receding grey-flecked hair. When he left the house he was clean-shaven and wearing glasses.
Sergeant Ian Dugdale, of Basingstoke police, said: “We are concerned as this behaviour is out of character for Mr Ebbs and he is without essential medication which he must take regularly.
“If anyone knows where he may be, if you have seen him either today or yesterday, or if you think you have any information which may be useful to us, we’d ask that you get in touch immediately.”
Anyone with any information regarding Mr Ebbs’ whereabouts is asked to call 101.
