John Wiltshire
A FORMER youth club leader has been jailed for five years for sexually abusing a teenage girl.
John Wiltshire appeared at Winchester Crown Court on Friday where he was also ordered to sign the sex offenders register for life.
Wiltshire, who used to lead Chill 2 This youth club in Whitchurch, pleaded guilty to five charges of sexual activity with a child, one count of taking indecent photographs of children and four counts of making indecent images of children.
The 64-year-old of Evingar Road, Whitchurch, hung his head and wiped away tears as Judge Keith Cutler sentenced him to five year in prison, with a three year extended licence.
See The Gazette this Thursday for a full report on the sentencing, and find out what drove the once respected member of the Whitchurch community to become addicted to looking at indecent images of children online.
