A TADLEY teenager was stabbed to death this morning on the island of Zakynthos.

Robert Sebbage, 18, allegedly had an altercation with two taxi drivers outside a nightclub in the Laganas region at 4.30 this morning.

Tributes have begun pouring in for the popular former Hurst Community College pupil, who suffered from a rare condition called neuropathic bowel disorder.

In a statement, Robert's family said: "All these young men are very close friends. They are all 18-years-old and all went to the Hurst school together.

"Some went on to college together and some into work.

"They are all just a bunch of nice lads and this was their first holiday abroad and they had all gone just to enjoy themselves."

The Foreign Office has confirmed five British nationals were involved in a “serious incident” on the island, commonly known as Zante.

A spokesman said: “Sadly, this resulted in the death of one British national and the hospitalisation of four others, one in a serious condition.”
