IDIOTS threw paint from a bridge onto the Basingstoke ring road.
The yellow paint was tipped from a footbridge over the A339 between the Reading Road roundabout and the Aldermaston Road roundabout at around 12.45pm on Tuesday, April 20.
Some of the paint landed on a car that was travelling towards the Aldermaston Road roundabout.
PC Victoria Brewer, of the Whitchurch Targeted Patrol Team, said: “This was an extremely dangerous incident and fortunately nobody was injured.
“Throwing items from a bridge towards moving traffic is unbelievably stupid and could result in serious injury to people using the road below.”

* A 15-year-old boy from Farnborough, a 17-year-old boy from Basingstoke and an 18-year-old man from Basingstoke have been arrested and bailed in connection with this incident.
