THE railway arch in Milkingpen Lane: Is becoming a significant example of the distinct lack of courtesy on some of our village roads.

If you are further from the arch than a driver approaching from the other side, village etiquette requires that you should stop to allow the oncoming car to pass through safely.

It does not mean barging through, swearing at the same time.

As there are no priority traffic signs, common sense is necessary here, as it is blindingly obvious that two vehicles cannot pass at the same time.
