EMPLOYEES at a Basingstoke firm donned cycling helmets and went on a sponsored bike ride in aid of a north Hampshire children’s charity.
Instead of heading home after work, nine cyclists from Euphony Communications, based in Basing View, put on their sports gear and took to the road for a 13-mile sponsored ride to raise money for Naomi House Children’s Hospice.
They raised £200 for the Sutton Scotney-based charity, which offers care and support for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Alan Brennan, international product manager for Euphony Communications – a telecommunication services reseller with its head office in Basingstoke – organised the charity bike ride.
He said: “A fun time was had with no injuries, great weather and no unplanned dismounts!”
